Legislative Update
We all know how difficult moving can be, so I have sponsored legislation, HB 158, which will aid this process for military families by allowing military spouses to be eligible for unemployment compensation support when leaving an Ohio job due to military transfer of their spouse. This bill has passed through the House Chamber of the General Assembly and should make its way to the Ohio Senate in the Fall of 2017.
